From "I Should" to "I Am"

For a long time, I lived with the feeling that I should be healthier. I thought it meant massive, painful changes—grueling gym sessions and strict diets that felt impossible to stick with. The truth is, my journey started from a much simpler place. I wasn't focused on a number on the scale; I was just tired of being tired. I wanted to feel more vibrant, more confident, and more like myself. So, I started small. I prayed, I drank more water, and I put on my favorite music and danced.

Those little actions—those "Royal Pops" of my day—began to add up. Slowly but surely, my energy came back. People started noticing the changes, and I began to believe that if these small steps worked for me, they could work for anyone. That's when I realized my journey wasn't just my own anymore. It was a path I could share with others.

The Pillars of My Journey

My journey is built on three core beliefs that have changed my life. They're the same principles I want to share with you.

Faith: My faith is my foundation. I believe our bodies are a gift, and honoring them is a form of worship. This belief guides my choices and gives me strength on the days when motivation is hard to find.

Joyful Movement: I've always loved to dance, and Zumba was a natural fit. Instead of a workout feeling like a chore, it feels like a celebration. I truly believe that movement should be a source of joy, not a punishment. The Royal Pops I sprinkle throughout my day—quick, fun bursts of activity—are a perfect example of this.

Progress, Not Perfection: Let me be honest: I have days when I don't feel motivated. The key isn't to be perfect; it's to be persistent. The Queen Time Journey is about celebrating every single step forward, no matter how small.

The Vision: Building a Team of Queens

This is more than just a website for me. It's a living testament to what's possible, and I'm inviting you to be a part of it. I'm actively looking to collaborate with amazing people who can help us all on this journey. My vision is to partner with a registered dietitian to add nourishing food plans that complement our workouts and with other fitness experts who can bring new energy and ideas to our movement.

I'm also working on a daily journaling tool to help keep us all motivated and grounded. This will be an extension of my own journey—a place where you can track your progress, celebrate your wins, and get back on track on tough days..
