## My Queen Time Journey: Embracing Health, One Small Step at a Time
Hi, I'm Ember, and welcome to my Queen Time Journey! Based right here in Akron, Ohio, this space is where I'm sharing my personal path to better health and well-being. Honestly, my initial focus wasn't even about losing weight. I simply wanted to feel healthier. But as I started making small changes, people began noticing I was losing weight, which showed me the power of consistent, little efforts – and made me believe it could work for anyone.
### My Philosophy: Little Changes, Big Energy
I truly believe that you don't need massive overhauls to see real change. My own experience proves it! By incorporating small habits – like praying, fasting, squeezing in little workouts, and drinking plenty of water – I started feeling a significant difference in my energy levels. It's like a snowball effect: those small, positive actions build momentum and lead to bigger results.
### Faith & Finding Strength
My faith is absolutely central to my journey. The Bible reminds us of the importance of keeping our bodies healthy, and that's a guiding principle for me. It's about honoring the gift we've been given and stewarding it well through the choices we make each day.
### My Workouts: Finding Joy and Movement Throughout the Day
Movement is such a vital part of feeling good, and Zumba is one of the things I absolutely love and enjoy! I try to dance my way through a Zumba workout at least three times a week. What's great is that even with a busy schedule, I often find myself cleaning up, getting my daily tasks done, and *still* having time to work out and dance – it just fits right in!
Throughout the day, I also sprinkle in my "Royal Pops." These are five different, quick workouts that I do five times a day. The key is to focus on a specific muscle group or type of movement for each set of five. For example, if I'm working legs, I might do five different leg exercises – like squats, lunges, calf raises, hamstring curls, and glute bridges – doing 10 repetitions of each, five times throughout the day. It's all about those little bursts of activity that add up and help keep my body engaged.
### My Food Journey: Nourishing My Body
My approach to food is simple: focus on nourishing my body with good, wholesome choices. It's about fueling myself with what I need to feel energetic and strong.
### The Honest Truth: It's About Progress, Not Perfection
There are definitely days when I don't feel as motivated or when I face challenges. But I've learned that it's okay. It's about getting back on track and remembering why I started. This journey is about progress, not striving for some unattainable perfection.
